Scattered human survivors emerge from hiding to find a continent scarred by magical devastation. Queen Elara’s The Kingdom of Aelarion sends out expeditions to locate survivors and assess the scope of destruction. First contact with other remnant groups reveals that perhaps 5% of humanity survived the Lost Generations. Early settlements focus on basic survival: clean water, shelter, and avoiding the Blighted Zones where magical warfare poisoned the earth.
