Title: The Crimson Butcher
Domains: Brutality, Chaos
Creators: Vorthar and Zoroth
Pantheon: The Nyx

Description
Goroth, the Lord of Bloodlust, is the frenzied god of unrelenting violence, madness in battle, and the carnal hunger for destruction. Forged in the depths of wrath by Vorthar, the Dark Weaver and Zoroth, the Hollow Prince, Goroth is not a warrior—he is slaughter made flesh. Known as The Crimson Butcher, he revels in chaos without cause, brutality without mercy, and victory bought with suffering.
He is depicted as a hulking brute clad in ragged armor caked with blood, his body a patchwork of scarred muscle and bone. His mouth is split with an eternal grin, eyes blazing with red light. His weapons change form constantly—sometimes a cleaver, sometimes a spiked chain, sometimes just his bare hands—symbolizing the unpredictable nature of his wrath. Blood constantly drips from his form, pooling wherever he walks.
Followers
Goroth’s followers are warbands, slavers, tyrants, and berserkers—those who embrace violence for its own sake. His cults thrive in shattered kingdoms and lawless wastes, where might is the only law. They are feared not just for their strength, but for their joy in suffering. His chosen priests, called Bloodpriests, lead rituals through combat, often sacrificing the weak to glorify the strong.
The Crimson Tide, his most devoted war cult, roam the wilds in a state of permanent rage, carving bloody paths through the world to offer their violence as tribute to Goroth.
Rituals and Offerings
-
The Rite of the Frenzied Feast: Before battle, Goroth’s warriors gather in a blood-soaked frenzy, drinking from bowls filled with animal or enemy blood to invoke his blessing. Those who resist the madness are slain.
-
The Bloodwrit: Victors of combat carve runes into their flesh or armor in Goroth’s name, offering the suffering of their victims as divine proof of loyalty.
-
Offerings: Fresh blood, cracked bones, and the weapons of fallen foes are piled on burning altars. Entire corpses may be hung from blackened totems in sacred battlefields.
Sigils and Symbols
Goroth’s symbol is a horned helm, impaled by a sword, representing unrelenting violence and insatiable bloodlust. His sigil is daubed in gore across banners, scrawled on war paint, or burned into armor plates. Warriors who wear the mark fight until death—or worse.

Additional Details
Those dubbed Bloodborn are believed to be chosen at birth—born during a massacre, found screaming in the remains of war, or bearing red markings across their skin. They are taken into Goroth’s cults and raised to know nothing but war. Many rise to lead savage hosts across Eldara, their names whispered in dread even by seasoned generals.
Goroth teaches no discipline, no honor—only the truth of the blade. All peace is weakness. All restraint, a lie. The world is nothing but flesh to be broken.
